It is not winter yet, but we start feeling more and more like having some soul warming foods. For me such a dish is German Currywurst, therefore this week I would like to introduce a vegan option – SoMeat Curry Sausages. It is a delicious and light dinner that brings German taste to our tables.

SoMeat - Plant - Based Mince 200g
Rice Paper 5
Toast Bread 1 slice
Soy Milk 50ml
Tomato Paste 2 tablespoons
Spices
 - Paprika 2 teaspoons
 - Turmeric 1 teaspoon
 - Cumin 1 teaspoon
 - Curry Powder 2 teaspoons
Salt and Pepper
Vegetable Oil

In a mixing bowl, mix the SoMeat and the soaked bread. Season with paprika ( 1 teaspoon), salt and pepper.

Using the rice paper, wrap about 40 g of the SoMeat paste (1 tablespoon). Makes about 5.

Fry the SoMeat sausages over a medium heat for about 6 min, until brown.

In a frying pan mix tomato paste, paprika, turmeric and cumin with 50ml of water. Heat up a little over a low heat.

Cut the SoMeat sausages into thirds and serve with the tomato sauce and curry powder.
